Hi Parents, It's been a historical week for all Malaysians as the nation was gripped by the excitement of change and took to the social media for news while many lost sleep waiting for the results of the mother of all elections. Everyone spoke of little else and it was the same in our Facebook group with sharing after sharing, sometimes of the same news and videos. (We have since deleted most of them because we are an education group, not a political one). The motions have been set in place and it is now time for us to move on and shift back our focus to helping our kids prepare for their mid term exams. We urge everyone to stop sharing political related news on our Facebook group unless it is related to education, for example, who will be the next Education Minister? Teachers groups on Facebook have begun discussing the changes they would like to see to empower them to do their jobs better. Parents too are hopeful. Since the group spoke of little else this week, there is not much to update. We leave you this week with a Happy Mother's Day greeting to all Mothers who celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday 13 May, 2018 and following soon after, we would like to wish a Happy Teacher's Day to all teachers, class teachers, subject teachers, music teachers, tuition teachers, sports teachers and even parents who are teachers or home educators.
