July has been typically a quieter month where parents and children settle back to school routine with no public or school holidays to distract from the routine. The mid term school holidays is another month away starting from 9 or 10 August 2019 depending on which state you are from. Despite the quieter month discussion goes on as usual with topics such as

- How much money to prepare for getting child ready for starting school in standard 1

- Can my child cope with many co-curricular activities and a tight schedule?

- What to do if your child receives a warning letter which you feel is unfair

- Help, I need suggestions for songs for Mandarin singing competition

- How to remove stains from white school uniforms

This week also saw the end of the frog VLE system for schools to be replaced by Google Classroom. You can read more about that on our blog or view parents discussion here. This year we will have a special public holiday on July 30, 2019 in conjunction with the coronation of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
