November is just round the corner and that means Deepavali is round the corner too! As with other years, schools will have extra festive holidays during all festivals including Deepavali. Here is the schedule for the Deepavali School Holidays. Schools will have one additional day off for Deepavali. This means that Both Group A and Group B schools will have 4 days off in all including weekends and the Deepavali public holiday as follows. Group A schools are schools in Johor, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu which observe Friday and Saturday as weekend. Days off for Group A schools 10 - 11 Nov 2023 = Weekend on Friday and Saturday 12 Nov = Deepavali public holiday 13 Nov = Extra school Holiday * Total days off = 4 days from 10 to 13 Nov 2023 Group B schools are schools in all other states which observe Saturday and Sunday as weekend. Days off for Group B schools 11 - 12 Nov 2023 = Weekend on Saturday and Sunday 13 Nov = Replacement Deepavali public holiday (ie Monday off to replace Deepavali which falls on Sunday) 14 Nov - Extra school holiday *Total days off = 4 days from 11 to 14 Nov 2023 Are you looking forward to the Deepavali school holidays?
