Since a few years ago, schools in Malaysia have extra days off during festive season eg Hari Raya, Chinese New Year and Deepavali. Likewise, this year there will be extra two days off for the Deepavali school holidays in addition to the Deepavali public holiday which falls on Monday, 24 October 2022.
