It's October and yet, we have started talking about getting ready for school on our parenting platform. Though it may sound still a couple of months away, in fact, it is not that far. Now is the time to start scouting for good back to school deals. Some parents like to prepare in advance to avoid the hectic back to school shopping days while some like to wait for last minute deals. Whichever works for you is fine. On the secondary school front, next year Form 4 students will start schooling by having the choice to choose the subjects they want. No more streaming into Arts or Science classes with effect from 2020.
Meanwhile, those searching for schools for 2020 can visit the 14th Private and International School Fair to be held on 2 - 3 November 2019 at Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur. Your school research will be made a lot easier by having various school representatives on hand to explain to you their fees, scholarships etc. This will save you time from having to drive from school to school in the search for the right school for your child. Don't forget to mark the dates down on your calendar.
